Programs & Classes

Parents and neighbors shape our education program. Through surveys, conversations, and cafecitos, families tell us what they need and we build the schedule around what we hear. Many classes are offered in partnership with Coalinga College and Adult Education, taught by their instructors in our centers. Classes run during the day and in the evening at both centers, and free childcare is provided.
The mission of the Coalinga-Huron Family Engagement Center is to create access to resources, tools and knowledge to strengthen families in order to provide a thriving future for every single child in our community.
Parent University Programs & Class Schedule
We offer free and low-cost classes, workshops, and events for families at both centers for building skills, confidence, and connection.
Many are offered in partnership with local organizations, and several are available in both English and Spanish.
